The UK government, taking a major U-turn on Tuesday, announced a ban on the purchase of new Huawei Kits for 5G from next year, and said that by the end of 2027, the Chinese telecommunications giant’s devices will be completely removed from the 5G network .The decision has been taken following new advice given by the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) on the impact of US sanctions against the telecom company.
